Privacy Policy
Introduction
AxoraPDF AI ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle, protect, and process data collected from the AxoraPDF AI mobile application.
Data We Collect & Process
AxoraPDF AI is designed as a secure, offline-first PDF reader. However, to provide cloud synchronization and feature delivery, we utilize the following third-party integrations:
- Authentication & Cloud Sync: We use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to allow you to securely sign in, store, and sync your document bookmarks or preferences across devices.
- Crash Analytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application stability and fix critical errors dynamically. This collects non-identifiable device details (OS version, device model, crash traces).
- Google Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to capture basic usage stats (e.g., screen visits and feature interactions) to help us improve the application interface.
Advertisements & Mobile SDKs
Our app integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process device advertising identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID) and telemetry to serve relevant ads and perform fraud checks.
For details on how Google handles advertisement data, please read the Google Advertising Policies & Terms.
On-Device Document Security
Your PDF files are processed locally on your device. When using the AI Assistant (Gemini), only the text content of the specific page you wish to summarize is sent via API request to the Google Generative Language services. Your local files are never uploaded to our servers, nor are they used to train AI models.
Your Choices & Permissions
You can manage how the application accesses your device features through your OS settings:
- Storage / Files Permission: Required to open, read, edit, and encrypt PDF files stored on your local sandbox storage.
- Camera Permission: Required only when utilizing the OCR Scanner feature to capture images of texts for digital scanning.
- Biometric Lock: Utilizes device-native hardware to lock and unlock secure PDF vaults locally. We do not access or store your biometric signature.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
